Charles-Benoit specializes in commercial real estate financing, capital structuring, and portfolio strategy for institutional investors, REITs, pension funds, private equity firms, family offices, and developers across Quebec. His mandate spans single-asset financings to complex structured assignments, including leverage buyouts, across CMHC-insured, conventional, CMBS, and high-yield debt, for both term and construction facilities.
Prior to joining CMLS, Charles-Benoit served as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of the Montreal and Quebec City Debt & Structured Finance practice at CBRE Capital, where he helped drive the growth of the national brokerage and direct lending platforms.
Charles-Benoit holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business, is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), an Exempt Market Dealer (EMD), and is dually licensed as a Commercial Real Estate Broker with the OACIQ and a Mortgage Broker with the AMF. He is also a guest lecturer at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
Charles-André Roy, CAIA, CIM, specializes in real estate debt structuring and financial strategy, including construction, term, bridge, and structured financing, as well as capital raising and advisory services. His clientele includes high net worth families, developers, public companies, and pension funds. Mr. Roy has over 10 years of experience in real estate finance.
Prior to joining CMLS, Mr. Roy held senior roles in the commercial real estate financing industry, where he advised clients on complex financing structures and capital markets strategies. He holds a major in Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations.
Jeffrey Medeiros specializes in underwriting, portfolio strategy, and transaction execution, having completed over $2.5B in transactions. His clientele includes high-net-worth families, developers, private equity firms, and REITs. With over 5 years of experience in the commercial mortgage industry, Mr. Medeiros works closely with clients to structure and secure optimal capital solutions.
Prior to returning to CMLS, Mr. Medeiros held a pivotal role in the Montreal Debt & Structured Finance practice at CBRE Capital, where he contributed to the growth of the national brokerage and direct lending platforms. Mr. Medeiros holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance, from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and is licensed as a Mortgage Broker with the AMF.
